FUNDING GUIDELINES AND APPLICATION

1.      Background

In 2017 a local farmer provided the community with a lease opportunity for a community crop, thus creating the Jerramungup Future Fund (JFF).  While the JFF did not have a clear purpose for the funds at this time (and there was no immediate need within the community), the opportunity was too good to pass up, with the idea that these initial funds, and any further funds would be used to facilitate revitalisation of the community.  The JFF aim to support the creation of a positive community where people want to live, work, and socialise.

The JFF has identified a financial goal of generating $50,000 to $100,000 per year for distribution to projects and community groups in need.  While we have not met this goal yet, and continue to undertake fundraising projects with the end result in mind, we have secured enough funds to begin supporting the community.  Funds will be allocated via the application process detailed in this document.
